Egg Freezing
Eggs are frozen for several reasons.
An individual may be about to undergo
some kind of experience ( such as
cancer chemotherapy or radiation
therapy) that will render her sterile.
She may also concerned about the
passage of time, or may have other,
more unique or unusual reasons. We
are state and federally certified to
store both eggs and sperm. Because
the eggs and sperm are stored in very
low temperature liquid nitrogen, the
passage of time causes very little
change in the eggs and sperm.
There have been numerous successful
fertilizations of eggs stored this way.
Techniques for this kind of fertilization
are expected to continue to improve.
